At VIEWSHED, our work is informed by the context of our surroundings. We are dedicated to approaching projects with creativity, environmental sensitivity, and an awareness of client needs.
We are a diverse group of design professionals, with backgrounds in landscape architecture, GIS, planning, visual assessment, community engagement, environmental permitting, 3D modelling, policy analysis, research, and technical writing. In addition to maintaining an interdisciplinary approach within the office, we collaborate with professional teams from a variety of disciplines to address complex challenges.
VIEWSHED is a woman-owned business based in Yarmouth, Maine. Our studio was established through the union of Spatial Alternatives and Terrence J. DeWan & Associates (TJD&A). TJD&A has been a leader in Landscape Architecture & Planning in New England for the past 30 years, while Spatial Alternatives has been a trusted GIS consulting partner to many organizations for the past 20 years.
